The AmCham Shanghai Corporate Visa Program is a program administered by AmCham Shanghai in cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General Shanghai to facilitate U.S. visas for select AmCham Shanghai resident Corporate Member Company employees. Direct hire employees of participating companies are eligible for expedited visa interviews at a time reserved for AmCham Corporate Visa Program participants. Generally speaking, the interview time is much shorter than a normal visa interview and AmCham Corporate Visa Program visa applicants usually have a much higher rate of acceptance for their applications. The program is suitable for B-1/B-2, C-1, J-1, L-1, H-1B, H-3 and F visa applicants (dependents of J-1, L-1,H1-B and F applicants are also eligible if they apply at the same time as the principal applicant) and companies may begin referring applicants as soon as their company applications are approved.
What are the benefits to member companies?

- Very high success rate for visa applicants (but applicants must qualify on his/her own merits)

Please also note the following general rules regarding the referral program:
- The Consulate and AmCham office will continue to be stringent in our selection of which companies are allowed to participate in the program. Because of the limited number of interview slots available each week, we are planning to streamline the interview process. In order to do this, we will continue to ensure a very high level of quality in the applicant pool.
- We also will continue to hold Signatory to a very high level of personal involvement and accountability.
- Any violation of the Corporate Visa Program rules, policies or procedures that causes us to doubt the integrity of the signatory's referrals will result in an immediate suspension from the program for a minimum of six months.
- To ensure timely processing, we recommend all participants submit visa applications at least one month prior to their employeess' intended travel dates. Although some delays will be inevitable due to the interview requirment, companies can prevent this problem by planning ahead and applying early.

上海美国商会公司签证项目是一项由上海美国商会管理，并与美国驻上海总领事馆合作进行的项目，旨在为具备上海美国商会会员资格的美国公司的雇员提供美国签证便利。参与该项目的公司的直接雇员在出境旅行时，有资格申请为美国商会公司签证项目参与者保留的时间内接受快速签证面试。一般说来，快速面试预约时间要比常规预约面试时间短得多，而且通常美国商会公司签证项目签证申请人的申请被接受的机率也要高得多。该项目适用于B-1/B-2、C-1、J-1、L-1、H-1B、H-3 和F签证申请人（如果J-1、L-1、H1-B及F申请人的随同直系家庭成员同时作为主申请人时，也有资格提出申请），而且一旦公司申请加入该项目得到批准，公司便可以开始递交申请签证的材料。

请同时注意如下关于此签证项目的一般规则：
领事馆和美国商会办公室将一如继往地严格挑选有资格参加该项目的公司。因为面试的可用时间有限，我们正在规划精简面试流程。为了做到这一点，我们一直确保我们的申请人具备极高的素质。
我们还将继续使签字人保持极高的个人参与性和责任感。
任何使签字人的推荐的完整性受到质疑的、对公司签证项目规则、政策或程序的违反，将导致立即暂停其公司参与本项目至少6个月。
提前申请计划。尽管面试要求会不可避免导致延迟，但公司可通过提前计划和及早申请来防止这类问题的发生。考虑到新的面试要求和工作量，建议于预期出国的时间提早一个月申请签证。
