Stein Kretsinger, executive co-founder of Advertising.com, will explain how he built an online advertising company that brought marketers unparalleled competitive advantage in capturing market share. His company’s success promoted AOL to buy it in 2004 for US$435 million.
Stein will give a colorful and simple introduction to his mathematical approach to marketing that draws on the internet’s unique strengths. Stein will also feature case studies of the marketers in the financial services and banking industry that adopted this new idea. Stein will also comment on how advertisers in China can apply these ideas to win market share.
Stein, executive co-founded of Advertising.com, the fourth largest media network after AOL, MSN and Yahoo. Advertising.com boasts with a current run rate of 15 billion online impressions per month.
Prior to that, Stein was VP of Business Development for Value America. Stein began his career at CapitalOne, where he built several of the company's first segmentation strategies and launched CapitalOne's initiative into the subprime credit market which today generates 40%+ of CapitalOne's revenues.
Stein holds a MS in Systems Engineering and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
