CereCare Wellness Center For Children [Medical\Cerebral palsy children] |
| |
| |
CereCare Wellness Center for Children is the first privately owned CP (Cerebral Palsy) rehabilitation center in China which provides CP sufferers with the most effective treatment methods. Apart from the innovative acupressure treatment by Lu Shunling, the Center uses Conductive Education from Hungary, Hong Kong and the Japanese "Dohsa-Hou" as well. Our goal is to help CP children achieve their ultimate long-term goals: realistic independence with potentials fully realized. |

 | New Facilities Development Fund Sponsor |
| Goal: to raise US$ 8.5 million (multiple sponsors)
Currently, the center turns many children away (according to the Shanghai Disabled Person's Fedration, the city now has 60,000-70,000 cerebral palsy patients from the country's total of 3 million) because of the limited facilities, skilled physical therapists, teaching staff and funds. The initiative of establishing the New Faclities Development Fund is to raise fund for curing victims who has CP-related mind physical symptoms with the best chance of rehabilitation: to live independently and attend school some day. (there are no provisions for handicap children in the local schools).
Our goal is to acquire, through the Municipal Government, a special land acquisition grant/rate for handicap/non-profit organizations, and build a large and purpose-built medical facility comprised of:
- Residential Treatment Center for 150 children
- Bridging School: grades K-6th
- Therapist Training Center
- for the Center and hospitals & doctors
- Adult Vocational Center
