Save the Children [Child education and health; Child protection, care and welfare; HIV/AIDS; Emergency relief]
 
  Established in 1919, Save the Children is the world's leading child-focused organization, with operational programs in over 120 countries. Our mission is to fight for children's rights and deliver immediate & lasting improvements to children's lives worldwide. A permanent presence in mainland China since 1988, we now work in over 20 provinces and municipalities China-wide, with program work focused on three main areas: a) child education and health; b) child protection, care and welfare; c) HIV/AIDS; d) emergency relief. We have 120 permanent professional staff and legally registered program offices in Yunan, Anhui, Xinjiang and Tibet, a team in our Beijing Head Office working on national policy development and advocacy, and an office in Shanghai developing corporate relationships. We are different because a) we give children a voice; b) we cooperate with government departments at all levels; c) we establish good practice to achieve real, practical change.

Inclusive Education of Yunnan Minority Basic Education Project [YMBEP], Yunnan
The objective of the YMBEP is to improve access to and quality of basic education in remote and poor ethnic minority areas in Yunan. The YMBEP has four components, including a)teachers’ training; b)inclusive education for disabled children; c) community participation in education and nutrition and hygiene; d) income generation/vocational education. All these components contribute towards achieve the objectives. YMBEP program has received great response and now we are thinking to replicate the Inclusive education part to more areas in Yunan. Funding support needed for the Replication of the Inclusive Education program: RMB 40,000

Vocational Training of Yunnan Minority Basic Education Project [YMBEP], Yunnan
Vocational skills training aims to improve the livelihood opportunities of children with disability. The training program is designed for about one year and 50 Children would be trained in the programme. Funding support needed for Vocational Training program: RMB 50,000

Program sponsorship
Provide a financial donation to a specific program. Support our China-wide work on HIV/AIDS, or provide funds for fight against child trafficking in the border provinces. Get involved in our education programs in Yunan or our health programs in Tibet. Fund the children with disabilities programs in Anhui or our child welfare work providing care for child orphans.

Unrestricted funding
Give Save the Children the flexibility to decide how we spend your donation according to where it is most needed.

Launch a campaign, aligning our program work and your business to increase your product's profile and awareness of our work in China.
